ANNETTE ANSWERS THE FIVE W's
Who are you?
I am a mom to a beautiful girl. I am a wife to a wonderful man. I am happy helping others to live to their fullest potential. I am a believer of dreaming big. I am compassionate and caring. I am a lover of laughter; I love to laugh. I am creative and love planning new projects; finishing them is another story. I am a hard worker. I am not the best morning person. I am refueled by good music and road trips, preferably to the mountains or the beach. I am an accomplished tummy tickler. I am a seeker of light. I am a work in progress. I am a fan of good design and white space. I am inspired by vintage + modern. I am not super organized. I am supportive and encouraging. I am more introvert than extrovert. I am a moment capturer and memory keeper. I am happy and loving. I am enough. I am me and I am okay.
What do you believe with all of your heart?
That everyone has a story to tell. That whatever I do to document our photos and memories is enough. That living life comes first.
When did you know that this was your path?
I was absolutely thrilled when I found BPC in 2008 and found that Cathy Zielske was teaching a class, Design Your Life. That got me on the path and now I'm even more amazed and thrilled to be teaching here!
Where is your favorite place on earth?
I have very happy memories of when I lived in the Lake Tahoe area. Hiking and biking the mountain trails and hanging out by the lake are some of my favorite things to do. Anytime I can be on a beach or in the mountains, it's a good day in my book.
Why do you love your life?
I love that I get to come home to my family and am grateful for their support. I’m grateful to be able to follow my passions in both work and play; to help others to be happy, and live the best they can.
How do you do everything you do?
I don't! I have a lot of unfinished projects. I know I can get to them someday. If I don't, that's okay too. Right now, I just do what I can and try to savor and celebrate moments and have some fun along the way. Oh, and I'm embracing simplicity + technology to make memory keeping easier right now.
