Grateful, Every Day
Grateful, Every Day: An Art Journal Approach to Everyday Gratitude
Taught by Mou Saha
Have you ever wished to start an art journal of your own, but thought that you weren’t artistic enough to do it? Would you like to learn how to doodle on your scrapbook pages? Have you ever struggled to stay optimistic in your life?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, Grateful, Every Day is just the class for you! In this class, you’ll learn to build an art journal from scratch, illustrate it yourself with doodles, and most important of all, compile stories of gratitude from your own life to help you keep your focus positive especially when the going gets tough.
Taking the Grateful, Every Day class will not only help you overcome any creative inhibitions you may have about doodling, art journaling, and bookmaking, it will also remind you of your blessings to encourage you to stay positive even when the glass seems half empty.
A Note From Mou
I began my career as a clinical psychologist, but once my daughter was born, all that took a backseat, but I never let the lessons from that discipline fade. I believe that optimism is a choice that can be nurtured by gratitude. My goal with this project was to combine the healing power of creativity with an attitude of gratefulness: to create an art journal exploring the blessings in our own lives.
One such blessing in my life is my ongoing creative journey that has brought me in contact with talented fellow scrapbookers; recognition through publications in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks, Etc., Somerset Memories, Somerset Apprentice, and many others; creative friends from all over the world; and the opportunity to travel, teach, inspire and be inspired while sharing my passion.
