ABOUT KIM

Kim Kesti is a self-proclaimed paper crafting addict. Her favorite thing to do is retreat to her cozy craft space and dive into new projects. She describes her style as bright, bold, and a little bit funky. Kim started playing with paper when the scrapbooking craze was in full swing and was entered into the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2005. After accumulating quite a bunch of supplies, she turned to card making and altered projects to get more mileage from her stash. Since then, paper crafting has become her first love. In addition to paper crafting, Kim also enjoys knitting, hand stitching, photography, and organizing her scrappy space.

Who has inspired you, personally or professionally, to be who you are?

Definitely my Mom who started me on my first solo craft project: a cross-stitch turtle. I wonder where that thing is now?

What do you believe with all of your heart?

Life is about people and relationships, not things you can touch.

When did you know that this was your path?

Crafting has always been part of my life; it grew to become my passion about ten years ago.

Where is your favorite place on earth?

Honestly, it is home in bed after all the littles have fallen asleep.

Why do you love your life?

I am exactly where I want to be, right this minute.

How do you do everything you do?

Of course life is not perfect, but I strive to focus on the things that make my family (and myself) sane and happy.
