My Happy Little Inspirational Goal Book: A Fun Way to Focus on Your Goals

Taught by Molly Weight

What are your goals right now? You're more likely to reach your goals if you write them out in detail, including the steps needed to reach them and why it's so important for you to get there. It helps to put these goals and reasons where you'll see them every day; some suggest taping a reminder note to the bathroom mirror or the refrigerator.

Well, not all of us are ready to share our most private goals and dreams with everyone (family or not!). However, we still want to look at our goals every single day. We want time to reflect and meditate on our own—in our own way—for 5 to 10 minutes a day and reaffirm exactly what it is we want to accomplish, how we’re going to do it and to assure ourselves that YES! We can do it.

In this self-paced project class, Molly will show you how to create a happy little goal book filled with positive vibes, inspiring photos, progress notes, detailed steps to take, and positive affirmations. It's never too late to start focusing on your goals.

Molly is always on the go. She works full time; she’s a wife and a mother. When at home with her family, she rarely takes a moment for herself. After hours when everyone is in bed, she stays up late creating new products for her digital scrapbook design company, Biograffiti, and spends time creating new layouts and albums for her family. She's on the creative team for Cinzia Loosemore. We welcome her down-to-earth, simple approach to scrapbooking and time-saving tips.

My Happy Little Inspirational Goal Book includes:

To prepare for Molly’s class, please gather the following:

  • a basic paper trimmer
  • McGills Long Reach Hole Punch. Note: this is used to punch through the album cover and make holes to tie a bow. It’s not mandatory that you have a bow on the front of your album
  • double sided adhesive runner
  • 3/16” Glue Dots
  • 4” x 6” photo album that holds approximately thirty six photos with a customizable front cover (Note: These are generally what they call a cheap plastic photo flipper style album. I’ve seen them in the scrapbook album section at Target and the office section at Walmart.)
  • one sheet of 12” x 12” cardstock (I used a dark yellow)
  • six scraps of ribbon, one long enough to tie a bow
  • a pen or marker suitable for writing directly on photographs

You’ll also need the ability to print up to forty 4” x 6” photographs either at home or at your local photo lab. I use Persnickety Prints because their prints are waterproof. These JPG images are included in the downloadable class materials and are used as the pages of your album.

A "How-To Project" is a step-by-step eCourse that you can complete at your own pace. Comprised of video or audio files, PDF downloads, supply lists, and more, these eCourses take the guesswork out of planning and completing a creative project. This classroom will be available for access and download in your account until January 31, 2015.

Just follow the instructor's lead, add your own creativity and perspective, and then upload your finished project to the private gallery included in the online classroom.

How-To Projects do not include a message board to chat with fellow students or live interaction from the instructor. But you can always interact with us by emailing admin@bigpictureclasses.com. Enjoy!
