REBECCA ANSWERS THE FIVE W's

Who are you?

A creative soul with a tender heart, lover of fresh air and wide open spaces.

What do you believe with all of your heart?

That life is beautiful…no matter what.

When did you know that this was your path?

I graduated from college with a business degree and soon knew that was a big mistake. I couldn’t stop thinking about art and being creative. So I create. Every single day.

Where is your favorite place on earth?

In Haiti with my dozens of Haitian ‘sons and daughters’. If I could, I would live there. I am never happier than when I’m in Haiti. When I’m at home, one of my happy places is an old tobacco barn on our property. Sometimes I even set up a little paint studio down there.

Why do you love your life?

Because it gives me the chance to love and to work and to play, and to look up at the stars.

How do you do everything you do?

By going out each morning and breathing in lots of fresh air. I’ve finally learned that clearing my mind and taking time to unwind makes me so much more productive.
