Layout Challenge: Out and About Inspiration

Inspiration comes in many forms: after staring at these boxes for months admiring their unique color palettes, I ended up using the little leaf as a design inspiration instead. You just never know where the path of inspiration will take you!
CHALLENGE: Embark on an everyday object hunt for design inspiration that you might see each and every day without actually looking at it, then turn your object inspiration into a page somehow.
Looking for interesting packaging is a great way to make the task of grocery shopping a little more fun, and I completely support you if you buy something you know good and well no one will eat just because it has a cool design.
I spotted this magazine in the checkout aisle of Hobby Lobby and knew immediately that I wanted to spin the idea into a scrapbook page somehow—and I did, that very same day. When you work hard to exercise your inspiration-finding skills, you’re more likely to actually…. find inspiration! All you need to do is keep your eyes and mind open to possibility. The rest will fall into place.
