Create & Share Cardmaking: Happy Handcrafted Greeting Cards for All Year Long

6-week guided workshop • Starts November 20, 2014

In a world dominated by digital communication, handmade greeting cards slipped into real paper envelopes and mailed the old-fashioned way have become more special, more rare, and more important than ever.

Spend just 6 weeks getting the inspiration and the instructions you need to create 36 handcrafted cards that you can use all year long! You’ll also learn a proven system for organizing your finished cards, and you’ll create a “happy mail kit” that makes it easy to share them with the people you love throughout the year.

Cardmaking all-star Kim Kesti will kick things off with a handy checklist to help you outline a year’s worth of card needs. Then she’ll inspire you with 12 videos, 12 card sketches, 12 cards from her guest designers, and 12 colorful handouts (each featuring step-by-step instructions by Kim for completing two cards as well as step-by-step instructions by a guest designer for completing an additional card).

Whether you’re a beginning papercrafter, a seasoned cardmaker, or a scrapbooker looking to get more mileage from your stash of supplies, this interactive online workshop will reconnect you to the joy of cardmaking…and cardmailing, too.

Please note: All guided workshops you sign up for between now and January 31, 2015 will be transferring to our new site, so you can continue to access the content online even after the transition. We will send you a unique code for each class once the new platform is live. You will then enter this code into the new site and PRESTO, your class content will be archived there. You are also welcome to download and keep anything you wish.

About Kim Kesti

Kim Kesti is a self-proclaimed paper crafting addict. Her favorite thing to do is retreat to her cozy craft space and dive into new projects. She describes her style as bright, bold, and a little bit funky. Kim started playing with paper when the scrapbooking craze was in full swing and was entered into the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2005. After accumulating quite a bunch of supplies, she turned to card making and altered projects to get more mileage from her stash. Since then, paper crafting has become her first love. In addition to paper crafting, Kim also enjoys knitting, hand stitching, photography, and organizing her scrappy space.

Create & Share Cardmaking is back for another run! This workshop includes:

A Guided Workshop is an online, interactive eCourse that is taught in real time by one or more expert instructors. Guided Workshops have a specific start and end date, with a limited registration period.

Content is delivered via a combination of video tutorials, written lessons, project examples, downloadable handouts, printables, digital downloads, and more. You are invited to log into the private online classroom as often as you wish during the live class.

During class, you'll enjoy direct access to the instructor both via email and via the classroom message board, as well as a real sense of community and camaraderie with hundreds or thousands of fellow eLearners.
